A Great "New England" MTB Race!!

The Landmine MTB Classic is a premier mountain bike race on Boston's South Shore run by the Friends of Wompatuck State Park, Bikebarn Racing, and SE Mass NEMBA. The family-friendly race offers numerous course distances in order to welcome as many people into competitive mountain biking as possible. These include 25-mile, 11-mile, 5-mile, and 3-mile single-lap courses designed to challenge both expert & novice riders alike. We also offer a free Kids "Quarter Mile" Race on a wooded course that's both fun & accessible for beginning riders.

The Landmine MTB Classic is always the 1st Sunday after Labor Day each year. We look forward to seeing you on race day!

Race Day Info

Here's some quick race-day info to help make your day better. CLICK HERE for Start Times:

  • South Field: Wompatuck State Park is located in Hingham MA on Boston's South Shore. Once you reach the park entrance you’re still about 10-15 minutes from being at the race in South Field. Make sure you leave some extra time beyond what your mapping programs and GPS’s indicate. Extra traffic on race day can cause further delays, so plan accordingly!

  • Address to Use: Type 204 Union Street, Hingham, MA into your GPS / Navigation and it will get you correctly into the park. Then follow the signs to the start of the race in South Field. Warning: Some GPS’s still send you to a wrong (locked gate) entrance if you just select Wompatuck State Park.

  • Race Packet Pick-up: Upon arrival & parking at South Field, make your way to the registration tent to receive your race packet with number plate and race-day schwag.

PLEASE NOTE: There is NO DAY-OF REGISTRATION. You muster register ahead of time on-line at Bikereg.com/Landmine.

Registration closes Tuesday, Sep. 5th at 11:59 PM
OR when it sells out. No exceptions!

Race Day Schedule

All participants will also receive a Rider Info Card in their race packet on race-day. Information on all Start, Finish, and Award Times listed here on this website will be listed on that card as well. The card also has a link / QR code to get to race results.

ATTENTION RACERS!

Please be in the pre-race start chute at least 20 min before your start time - and then listen for your Cat & Age Group to be called to the front of the queue.  PLEASE be courteous and allow your fellow racers through if their Cat & Age Group is being called up.
